Celery Pasta Soup is the first entree which is the beginning of a truly great meal. Gardo loves the fact that is is healthy. Of course, he has no way of knowing of how "sinful" the next dish is going to be.



kusina ingredients 
  • 5 cups stock
  • 1 cup garbansos
  • 2 cups cooked wheat pasta noodle (macaroni or any small pasta)
  • 2-3 pcs cloves garlic, chopped
  • 3 stalks celery, chopped
  • 1 white onion, diced
  • 1 large potato, diced
  • 1 carrot, diced
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • parmesan cheese to top
kusina instructions
1. In pot, saute onion, potato, carrots and celery and season with salt and pepper.

2. Saute until celery and potatoes are a little soft. Then add in garlic, garbansos and stock.

3. Bring to a simmer until vegetables are cooked. Add in cooked pasta and stir for a minute.

4. Transfer into bowls and top with parmesan cheese.
