A very decadent tasting dish often served only on Special Celebrations and Parties. Cook a whole lot and put it in the freezer so you can have it anytime of the year.



kusina ingredients 
  • 1 kg pork tenderloin, cut into 2 pcs crosswise and pounded into sheets
  • ½ lb chorizo sausage, cut in strips
  • ¼ lb cheddar cheese, cut in strips
  • 1 pack McCormick Asado Tangy Stew Seasoning Mix
  • ½ tsp McCormick Ground Ginger
  • ½ tsp Club House Ground Cayenne Pepper
  • 2½ cups water
  • 3 hardboiled eggs, sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, cut in strips
  • 6 ½ ft (2 m) kitchen string, for tying

1. In a saucepan, dissolve McCormick Asado Tangy Stew Seasoning Mix, Ground Ginger and Club House Ground Cayenne Pepper in water. Set aside.

2. Spread and stretch the pork sheets on work table.

3. Arrange the filling on the pork: chorizo, cheese, eggs and red bell pepper.

4. Roll the pork with the filling inside and secure with kitchen string.

5. Repeat the procedure with the other piece of pork.

6. Place the pork rolls into the dissolved McCormick Asado Tangy Stew Seasoning Mix.

7. Cover the pot and bring to a boil. Simmer, uncovered, until internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C) and sauce thickens, at least 30 minutes.

8. Slice the pork, arrange on platter and top with sauce.
