kusina ingredients 
  • 300 grms tofu, cut into 1 inch cubes
  • 1 pouch DEL MONTE Pineapple Tidbits, drained and syrup reserved
  • 2/3 cup DEL MONTE Quick n Easy BBQ Marinade
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup panko break crumbs
  • 2 pcs eggs, beaten
  • 1 pc onion, cut into cubes
  • 1 pc small green bell pepper, cut into cubes
  • 1 pc small red bell pepper, cut into cubes 
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch, dissolve in 1 tbsp water
kusina instructions
1. Dredge tofu cubes in flour then dip in beaten eggs. Dip in panko bread crumbs. 

2. Fry the coated tofu in hot oil until golden brown. Set aside to drain in a tray lined with paper towels to remove excess oil.

3. In a new pan, heat oil. Add the onions, bell peppers, and pineapple tidbits then set aside.

4. In the same pan, add the BBQ sauce, pineapple syrup, and cornstarch dissolved in water. 

5. Cook until thickened. Toss in the cooked tofu and sauteed vegetables. Serve.
