Garlic Soy Vinegar Dip
Sukang may toyo - cane or coconut vinegar with soy sauce. This may also contain the very hot labuyo peppers and/or onions. Sukang may toyo is used in the pork dish crispy pata.
- 3 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) soy sauce
- 1/3 cup (90 ml) Filipino vinegar (suka) or apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
- Pinch of ground red pepper, chili powder or dried chili flakes
Keeps in the refrigerator for 6 weeks.
Makes 1/2 cup (125 ml)
